Maurice McZeke & MDK are a young group from South Carolina who just has a love for ministry and spreading the Word of God & the Gospel of Jesus Christ through their ministry of song. MDK stands for “Modern-Day Kindred.” Now a days, we know that family is more than blood, kin, or “relation,” but more so “Relationship.” Knowing this, these young man bonded together as Brothers. With the quick spreading & great response of their singles May the Works, Working On My Building, Call On The Lord (released on the Freshman Album “Be A Witness” 12/18/11), and their new single entitled “All The Way,” Maurice McZeke & MDK, who have been anointed with smooth, crisp vocals, and a sound that can only be described as their own, has definitely got what it takes to go all the way. Born into a family full of God-fearing preachers, teachers, singers, and musicians,Maurice McZeke was groomed for his ministry at an early age. Maurice has been blessed to have grace & share the stage with some of gospel music’s most renowned quartet artists, such as the late Willie Neal Johnson, the Supreme Angels, Doc McKenzie & the Hi-Lites, the Canton Spirituals, Bishop Darrell McFadden & the Disciples, the Legendary Singing Stars, Lee Williams, Swanee Quintet, Spencer Taylor, and many others just to name a few. Through his ministry and the Grace of God, many lives have been touched, delivered, healed, and set free.
